We took Em to the pumpkin patch this afternoon, since we've had such a busy month. We haven't been able to get there until today and we had a lot of fun. The sun even came out for us! Emma got to feed the pony and the donkey. Daddy needed to help her or she wound up throwing it at the animals faces :-) Then the big tractor came around the bend and we loaded up. She thought the "tract" was way cooler than anything, haha. It was a bumpy but beautiful ride out to the pumpkin patch. The fall colors bursting in the sunlight, they made me happy. I love fall! We trudged through the mud to find the perfect pumpkin and wound up with a small one that she could carry. She felt pretty proud of herself for holding her pumpkin. She was more excited to see the tractor come back around though and in our muddy boots, we climbed back up into the tractor. Daddy gave her the money to pay for her pumpkin herself too and she felt like such a big girl paying with her "monies". Okay, enough with the story, here's the pictures:
