Can I just say that at this point, I am totally over nausea 24/7 and feeling tired and exhausted while taking care of an almost three year old? I tell you, the next time I say I have baby fever, remind me of how awful I've felt the last four weeks. Please.
I'm in my 9th week of pregnancy at 8 weeks and two days. I can no longer suck in the bloat and I will be wearing maternity clothing for the rest of the pregnancy. Unfortunately, I have to buy some warm weather clothing because I was pregnant with Emma in the winter. I guess it's only unfortunate for Nathan and the bank account :-)
Emma is absolutely convinced she has a baby brother on the way and loves to talk to my belly already. It's cute, but I'm nervous that she's so stuck on a baby brother that she will be sad if God gives her a baby sister instead. I think she'll survive, but I hope for her sake, she does get that brother. She loves to call her baby brother/sister, 'Baby Punkin". She's excited and proud to be a big sister, but I'm sure it will be an adjustment once Baby gets here. My hope is to keep her as involved with us and the baby while also making one on one time for her so she doesn't feel like she's taking a backseat to the new baby.
Alright, anyway, now that I've spent time writing this out, I'm tired. It's time for a nap.
