Happy New Year! (and Merry Christmas)

It appears we survived the holidays... Barely. It was a LOT of driving and not a lot of sleeping. We're just now starting to get back into our usual routine. Nathan had about 10 days off over the holiday weeks, so we had a little bit different schedule, it got even more messed up once we started traveling. But we've survived, so I suppose it's all good.

Christmas was busy. I must admit that I am not a fan of driving all over with two kids. It's much harder to do with kids in general. When it was just Nathan and I, we didn't have to worry about schedules, routines and sleep the same way. It kind of sucks sometimes, but it's nice to be with family. Someday, I'll have a big enough house to host people, then I'll make everyone drive to me. HA!

The kids got a really cool Radio Flyer Wagon that they (ok, Emma and I) can't wait to use this spring and summer, especially when we head to Seattle to go to the zoo. Speaking of the zoo, I think we should just buy a membership for us because it's both Emma's and my favorite place to go when we visit Seattle. It is followed closely by the real malls Seattle has to offer. It's nice to have a shopping area that can entertain for more than twenty minutes. I've said it once, I'll say it again, the malls here in Eugene are not that great. Emma also got some new stuff for dress-up, a few movies and outfits and some other fun toys. We're working on getting rid of some of her old toys. This kid has more toys than she can play with in a day. Or week. I've thought about rotating toys, but I don't know it we will.

Now that things are calming down from the holidays, I'm hopefully going to post more often. It's always a goal, but I'm not all that great at keeping blog specific ones. Another thing will be a photo a week. 52 weeks of photos. I was going to follow a photographers themed weeks, but I'm just going to focus on taking a photo each week. Maybe I'll focus on making it a photo of each kid or the kids together. Feel free to weigh in with your comments. I like comments. Unless they're mean. Then I don't.

Enough with the writing, here are some pictures:
