Some Random Musings from the 2 Year Old

Here are some of the entertaining things Emma has said or done over the past few weeks. I really need to start writing all of them down. They're pretty funny.

While driving around looking at lights on the houses before Christmas, Emma says, "Daddy, you need to step it up!"

Emma has a tendency to play around in the bathroom when she's washing her hands. Some days, we find the hand towel soaking wet because she "washed it". Other times, she will take toilet paper, get it wet and wash the floors. This particular time, she decided to wash her face. Let's just say she turned off the water, whimpered and came running to the living room and started to cry. Her eyes were squinted and she cried, "My eyes is hurting!" :-) I laughed while Nathan helped her. She's washed her face plenty of times, but normally doesn't try to use soap. I don't think she'll be trying to wash her face for awhile.

Emma is obsessed with trains, I introduced her to The Polar Express to which she excitedly calls, "The Porn Espress". It provides us with regular laughs and some very interesting looks when she says the movie title in public. We're working on it, it's just taking a little time, lol.

Here are some words that Emma cannot pronounce correctly:

• Chapskit (chapstick)
• Wakin (napkin)
• I Can't Want To (I don't want to)
• Swedgie (Wedgie)
• Pway (Play)

 There's more, but I can't think of them at the moment. :-) 

I'm going to try and write down more of what she says more. I need to, she makes us laugh way too much not to.
