I'm Spent!

I'm so done driving long distances! I think over the past year, we have driven back and forth between Eugene and Seattle or Eugene and Portland at least every other week, it seems. I might be exaggerating a little, but I was definitely in Seattle at least 5 or 6 times just between June and September. I had a great visit, aside from being sick, but it's tough to drive 5-6 hours with a toddler.

Today, as we were driving back, I was praying that Emma would be able to last until we got home, so we didn't have to stop... Instead, I made it to the Woodburn area before she started waking up from her nap and from the moment she opened her eyes, she was yelling at me. So, we made a stop in Kaiser to grab lunch and walk around Target for a few to get some of her energy out. While we ate, I snapped a couple cute shots of Emma. She was quite happy once we sat down to eat. Go figure. We also bought a Belle doll today, she sort of looks like a Barbie, but she didn't come with a bunch of removable accessories, thank goodness. I'll take some pictures of her with Belle tomorrow. For now, here's todays:
