Wow... Two Years Ago Today -

Nathan, my mom, dad, brothers and me trekked to the Woodland Park Zoo to try and walk Emma out of me. Obviously I wasn't too successful because I had to be induced 5 days later, but I tried. I remember that day pretty clearly. It just happened to be the one day that it was 75 degrees on a Saturday and everyone was at the zoo! We waited forever in line and people around me offered to take me to the hospital if I did go into labor. I'm pretty sure people wanted to insult me, but I would assume that they all knew better than to mess with a large pregnant lady.

In my walk down memory lane today, I did find myself a little blue thinking about how my little teeny baby is now a walking, talking little girl. I wouldn't trade it for anything, but it still pains me a little knowing she'll never be my little cuddlebug again. Man, nobody ever told me that mom's go crazy when their kids have a birthday. It's like being a hormonally charged pregnant lady again - nobody mess with me, I can only deal with my daughters coming birthday and I will not be bothered! I feel bad for the person who gets the wrath of Kami later this week when I go into super stress mode getting the last minute things ready for the party! ;-)
