When God says "GO", we go... Even if it's far away

Okay, so Eugene really isn't that far, but you should all know by now that if I, Kami, am telling you how far away something is, my estimates are exaggerated. lol.
Here's a blog I posted on myspace regarding our move to Eugene. In case you couldn't see it on my myspace, here it is.

About a month ago, Dr. Cole, down @ Eugene Bible College, called Pastor Dan and asked if he could pursue Nathan for a position that was opening up and Dan reluctantly said, "okay". Well, after a lot of talking and prayer, we ventured down to Eugene and spent a couple days at the college and determined that accepting this position was what God was calling us to do. As of August 1, 2008, we will become Oregonian's. It is hard for us to leave our friends and family here, but we know that this is what is best.
Now let me first say, Emma and I will NEVER EVER EVER be a Duck or Beaver fan, we'll always be Trojans at heart . Seriously though, we are looking forward to growing as we take this next step in our lives. I knew when Nathan and I started dating that his desire was to return to EBC someday, although I always thought it would be a much later someday in our lives. I am at peace knowing that this move is coming. I still cry, sometimes, mostly when I think about leaving my friends and family, but I am peaceful. I know that God's hand is on our lives and that as we move, we will begin to face new challenges and grow even more.
For those of you that are here in Washington, I will miss you. This is my home and I will always be a Seattle-lite, PLEASE! Like I'd ever be unfaithful to places like Starbucks or Dick's Drive-In! lol, I know that any time we venture home, we'll be stopping at Dicks. I have so many different things that I will miss, I keep driving around and soaking in everything. I know that I'll never have a mall as great as Alderwood, there's no BabiesRUs and I won't be able to drive down I-5 every day and see the Olympics on one side and the Cascades on the other. I will, however, enjoy the no sales tax lifestyle and the fact that we will be paying much less rent than now. And never fear, there is a Target and Starbucks - I will always be happy as long as I can go to Target and Starbucks!
We are glad to have served in ministry here and it will be hard to leave.

On a side note - while we were at camp, our students prayed over us. We have been blessed to see all of the great things our students have accomplished while we have been here in Everett. It was amazing to hear them pray over us as some of them would never have stepped out to pray out loud before. God has been faithful to them. Of course, almost all of us cried as well... :-)
