So I took some time off this week from blogging. Not like I'm all that great at doing it regularly anyway :-) On Saturday, we had to run out to Thistledown Farm (which is where my second cousin, Emily, and her family live since her husbands family owns the farm) to drop something off. Emma knows what to expect at the farm, she knows they keep a bale of hay in the covered bridge that goes to where the animals are and that she can use it to feed the animals. She also knows shoes are a must, therefore she decided she needed to wear her cowboy boots, even though she chose to wear her leotard and tutu for her outfit. She's always stylin', that's for sure. I'm so glad that she likes to visit the farm, and her cousins, and see the animals. It's fun to watch her face light up when she grabs some hay and runs to the goats, the pony and the donkey. I'm excited for the day when she and Micaiah get to do that together. She'll be protective, bossy and a little controlling, I'm sure, but she'll teach Micaiah just how to feed the animals and I hope he loves it as much as she does.
Seriously, is there anything sweeter than seeing a little princess loving on animals?
