52 Weeks of Photos {Week 10}

It's not Wednesday, so that's good! Lol! This past week, Nathan took a couple of days off and we packed up the truck and headed to Florence, OR for the day. It was our first trip of 2012 and Micaiah's first trip to the coast ever! It was a lot of fun and while it was beautiful and sunny, by the time we got to the beach, the cool air was starting to move in and Micaiah was not a fan of the breeze. Until that point, he was happy though. Emma likes to collect shells she finds and isn't too happy when we tell her she can't bring more than two or three back.

Total side note: Two of the kids in Emma's Sunday School class have broken bones and casts and she is now convinced that she needs one EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. she gets hurt. So not fun!

Back to the beach: It was such a nice trip to take just the four of us. We saw a crow on the side of the road as we were leaving Florence. If you have been reading our blog since the beginning, you might remember our crow experience from our first trip with Emma. If you don't remember, here's the story - Water on our Feed and a Crow on our Windshield - Nathan and I joked that the crow was back for his revenge, although when we hit the crow that first trip, he pooped on the windshield, so that's a decent revenge. (Does that mean that we literally scared the crap out of the crow?) Other than that, our trip was pretty uneventful. Lunch at Moe's, a walk around Old Town and some fun at the beach. What more could ask for?
