Finally dwindling down the weeks of pregnancy and I think that there may be no way to convince me to do this again. Ever. Although Little Mister is rolling around and my stomach is moving as if there is an alien playing around inside of me and THAT is entertaining. Em loves to lay down with her hand on my belly just waiting for her baby brother to kick and go "thump". She's too sweet for words sometimes.
As we get to the end of this pregnancy, I'm realizing how many random things we will need to get still. For instance, I just discovered that all of our bottles are not BPA-Free since when Em was born, they were just starting to change all of that out. This means that, while I do not intend to use bottles much because I'm going to breastfeed again, I'll have to buy new bottles. And nipples. Our binkies are mostly pink, so we'll need to get new ones if we want to try those again. I need all new nursing tanks/bras because the others got so stretched out from a year of constant wear. That's just naming a few things... This kiddo can't have all hand-me-downs either since his sibling is a girl! HA! I'm okay with some pink on him, but a dress... Well. I draw the line there.
As for pregnancy, I'm pretty tired again and still battling with horrible sciatic pain regardless of how much walking or stretching I do. I feel like I must be the one and only person who cannot solve her problem by walking or stretching. I think that when you can barely move or roll over, you need some help or someone to put a lot of pressure right on the nerve. Sometimes that helps. Nathan's not a big fan of me waking him up in the middle of the night to do that though... Oh well. The baby kicks a lot at night when I'm sleeping and I still don't like it when people touch my belly. I have only been okay with about five people touching my belly. *Don't worry Anne, you're good* I haven't figured out why random strangers feel the need to touch. What the heck gives you the right to touch a lady's belly?! Next time, I'm going to rub their belly back! Other than that, my appointments are now every other week and we will soon be getting all of our birth information and plans ready. I've got to pack for the hospital soon and make sure I have Emma's special gift that her baby brother will give her when they meet for the first time. There are many things that will be different with this birth and Nathan and I are both looking forward to a hopefully calm delivery and recovery. Between the two of us, we have made some decisions regarding this birth that I think are good and will be great for both of us AND Emma in the long run. I can't wait to see Emma with her brother. She's going to do such a great job being a big sister! At this point, our plans are still pretty hush, hush as is the name choice(s). I will share more when we get closer, but for now, be patient. Hopefully in the next couple blog posts, I'll get to announce that my baby boy is here! I hold out plenty of hope that he'll arrive earlier than his due date! :-) At 31 1/2 weeks, my belly is really started to shoot out. Plus, my belly button is pretty much out. I believe that is a sign that I'M DONE!
