Needless to say, Emma is thrilled that she will have a baby brother! The ultrasound tech gave her her own picture of the baby (she's holding it) and wrote on the bottom "Emma's Baby Brother". We bought a little frame and put it in there for her to see :-) Nathan, of course, says he's thrilled, but the man shows no emotion in his face. I'm pretty sure he's excited at all of the "Daddy's Little Buddy" kind of things we'll be getting.
Now comes the fun part... SHOPPING! It's so much fun looking at all of the blues, greens and browns for boys! I love it! I'm excited to find Emma and Baby Boy coordinating outfits. Yes, I will be that mom. We registered at a couple places, mostly because I want the completion coupons, but I went a little crazy at Target yesterday after we found out. Emma and I picked out a lot of clothes and blankets for her brother. It's just going to be fun!
And, in case you're wondering, we do not have names picked out and we are not going to tell anyone the name until he is born! That should get the point across. :-P
