Summer Slowdown?

With the school year ending and summer beginning, the Ike fam may just have some more free time, right? Not right. Lots of activities going on for this family - its like the summer decided to kick into warp speed and send us off with a good swift kick. Congratulations Ike Fam, you'll never wish summer break was coming again. The only nice thing is that I have officially submitted my notice with Dr. B and will have my afternoons free again, or at least free to do more photo sessions.

Speaking of being free, I wish I was free from Eugene and its allergens. I feel like my eyes are going to swell so bad that they burst and my nose, I can't even begin to explain how stuffed up it is. It's torture. I absolutely loathe having allergies and Eugene is pretty much the epicenter of all allergy inducing things. It's my blog and I'll whine if I want to.

And can I just say that I am totally thankful for Netflix Watch Instantly and the fact that I can indulge in my stupid reality show needs. Laguna Beach and The Hills are my guilty pleasures and when I have nothing else to do - I immerse myself in the world of stupid blondes and drama, drama, drama. It's like a train wreck! I can't look away!!!

I would also like to tell you that the terrible two's are most definitely rearing their ugly head at my house right now. I cannot even begin to tell you how frazzling this house can be some days. Add in a lack of sleep and all three of us begin this crazy triangle of crankiness. But she certainly is cute and some days, when she's driving me absolutely insane, she'll come over, give me a hug and say, "Love you Mommy" and I cannot stay upset. The girl knows how to work you.

We took a trip to the coast and I will try and get some pictures from the trip up soon! Hopefully it'll be sooner, not later. I apologize for not staying up to date!
